With 4.30's you may run out of gear. I had 4.10 in my 03gt with a shoot and it worked great.

4.30's + 150 shot this winter = ~460 RWHP

do cams help with a nitrous shot? can you run a generic blower cam or do you need a custom grind?

Absolutley! I'm not sure if they have Nitrous-specific cams for the 4.6 but I could be wrong. A custom grind for your specific application would be best I think though.

And for the gears, 4:10's would work well w/ the power you'll be producing; but your tires won't like them too much. 3:73's would be great and won't spin up the tires too bad, but the 4:10's would love the power you'd be making. Make sure you get some Mickey T's if you go 4:10's...

4.10's work well but you may run out of gear at the track if you have a 5 speed and the factory rev limiter. I had to step up to a taller tire because I was hitting the rev limiter at 110mph beofre I reached the finish line.

Damn, 110 maxes it out in 5th? I didn't realize that... I just had 4.10's installed today, but I have to wait to install my new tranny before I can witness their true potential. What tire did you end up running to compensate?

I'd go with 3.73's, with my4:10's and a 100 shot I was running out of gear at the track.

trust me after spending (wasting) ~$10,000 on this setup, it'll have a few tunes.

and no you won't max out at 110mph in 5th, but you don't want to spray in 5th either. 110mph is about all you'll get out of 4th.
