sputtering when cold started then fine?
I started the car and it seemed to idle a tad bit rough. When I backed up and accelerated I noticed it was sputtering real bad. Almost as if it was getting gas, then it wasn't. It did this for about a minute until I took it onto the main road and took 1st & 2nd to 5000RPM's. From that point on it ran perfect.
What can cause this to happen? Checked for squirrels and there aren't any. Any other ideas?

RE: sputtering when cold started then fine?
Does anybody know why this happens?
I was wondering if maybe tt could be a bad fuel filter, or maybe the plugs need to be replaced.
The only thing that confuses me is that it goes away after a few minutes and doesn't come back again. That's the only thing that sways me from thinking the two solutions above is the fix. If it was a fuel filter or plugs it would be a constant shudder, and wouldn't go away when the car warms up.
