ok so icheck my PCM for codes on a weekly basis for good measure and pulledthe codes 1131 and 1151. i first thought theMAF and 02 sensorswere bad so i replaced the 02 sensors and took it to Ford for the MAF and they said it was fine and in fact has been replaced before. i asked them what else it could be and and them since it was detecting problems on bank 1 and bank 2 it was something that would affect both (obviously....i already figured that out) and for $68 they would keep it for 2 days and figure it out. obviously i'm not doing that... i'm not having any problems though. no hesitation, no increase in MPG (i been getting 16), no weird sounds. any ideas before i do have problems?

You could have a vaccum leak. There is unmetered air coming in from somewhere. I had a n20 backfire, and it popped my Intake pipe off the maf. It gave those SAME CODES YOU GOT! 1151 and 1131, for lean conditions.

Check for leaks any and everywhere.

i've checked twice already. and i've done the problem tricl, no change in rpms or anything.

i had the injectorsand fuel lines cleaned in october when the fuel filter was replaced. i dunno about the fuelpump. how do i check??
