no cats/service engine soon light

I have a bbk off road x pipe no cats. The service engine soon light is on. does that affect performance and gas mileage?

I know on my 02 GT when I had the X pipe installed w/o cats, my tuner guy had to delete the O2 sensors in the back with a tune.

yea just take it to a tuner and get it turned off
