what do you mean optimal back pressure is 0?!?!? Dont you watch nascar? Drag racing?? all those guys are running full length 2 1/4"exhaust systems with at least 2 mufflers and cats..... right....
all the high horsepower people who know what they are doing building fast n/a and f/i cars must be retarded, cuz they dont got big, restrictive exhausts to provide the ever so important backpressure.

You guys sure are smarter than me. I wish I knew anything about exhaust or backpressure, or what it does.

It does feel like a lost some tourque down low, but it also feels like I gained a bit of power up top!!?? And the popping is during hard acceleration!!

lol, you are enititled to your own opinion, but I understand why you think your car feels like crap when you open up the cutouts, You lose low end torque, but I would say that you are picking up more horsepower on the top end. Hey we are all one happy family here![sm=icon_cheers.gif]

There's going to be some dyno days coming up, and I'll get up there with and without the cutouts, and we will settle this for real!!!!!!!!!!!!! But I do see what you are saying.
