Default o2 simulator??




I'm about to order an offroad x pipe for my 04 GT. Where can i get o2 simulators. Haven't really been able to find them

Make your own.

Seriously, it's not that hard, and the $8 price tag is much more tempting than the $60-70 one for the name brand eliminators. Plus, since you have an 04, you will need extenders for the rear which you can just make out of any wire that is around and near the same gauge while you are making the eliminator part.

I've made 3-4 sets so far for myself and friends.

Thanks for making that BTW! I have made 3 sets myself and all have worked greatly for 5$ each set.

A point of clarification--what I have described are not O2 simulators, that's a whole different beast that involves active electronics. [/align][/align]The simple RC circuit shown on my web page simply conditionsthe output of fully functional rear O2 sensors (it reducesamplitude and induces phase shift) so as to trick the PCM intobelieving that the catalytic converters are in place and working.[/align][/align]The RC filter MIL eliminator circuitrequires that the rear sensors be in place and working...[/align]

I followed the write up and I have no check engine light. good write up and easy to do.
