Idles crappy after pro-m install

I put in my mass air meter today and it idlesat 600 instead of 700 like it was. At times it will go to 400 and then jump back up to 600. why is it doing this.

Because the car is relearning should go away in about a week.

mine still does it at idle and I've had it on for about 5k miles [sm=insomnia.gif]

Do you have it on right? If it's upside down (not backwards) it won't operate right.

isnt it supposed to be so that the black part of the MAM that u plug into is at a 12 0clock position or in other words facing up towards the sky? i think thats what it says in the instructions... ?

why dont you get a predator or chip? i always though that was the best way to get the most outta a MAM, i thought that you had to adjust your A/F ratio

Yes it is instaleed right. I don't wan to get a chip yet because i'm waiting to get my nitrous first. Could I by one of those tuners use it for not and then sell it in a month or so?
