IAC mod, Base idle now 1100...
...from 850rpm's. It drives great except when I don't give it enough gas that is and it tries to stall out on me. Is there any reasoning or way to adjust that idle without taking it too my tuner and having him adjust it? He actually told me not to do the mod but he couldn't add enough Decay for me to be happy so I did it anyway.
No vacum leaks, Manual trans, SCT flip tune, Mac 75mm tb, any thoughts????

Wait there is an IAC mod? I wouldn't mess with your IAC man, that controls more then just your idle. Why don't you just adjust your T/b stud and nut?

And nerd, screw the gasket bro, use a plug in the iac hose, just drill a hole to the size you want and stuff it in the tube, much easier and you can swap out hole sizes....in seconds

but also with any smaller hole than that of the original will NOT compensate for the AC, so at idle with no AC you may be idleing at 1100, then you turn the AC on and idle drops to 850-900, so its just annoying and I took mine out.

Did you disconnect the battery for 5-7 minutes after installing the restriction? The will clear the KAM (Keep Alive Memory) and force the PCM to relearn the idle trim...
