$10 my cost at Car Quest. I had the same problem as the original poster. System was recharged and had correct pressures, but still cycled the compressor clutch. Would drop the RPM's just the same. Replaced my cycling switch on the dryer, and has seemed to fix the problem.

Good to hear that. It's funny the switched is tied into the PCM and lets the PCM delay the clutch on the compressor from turning on right away so the motor has time to compensate for the compressor load. Mine wasn't getting the delay, so that why mine was bogging down, and sound like yours was the same way.
