To find the exhaust leak on my GT, my buddy put it up on the lift in his shop, 2 kids covered up the tailpipes and everyone quickly put their hands around any areas that could look to feel for the leak?

Some people try to use high temp RTV for the passenger side manifold, but it never works.

I had a problem with the passenger side leaking in the past. I got a pace setter mid pipe and the gasket they supplied lasted for all of a couple weeks. I went to ford and bought a stock replacement that was made of metal and lead i think? some kind of soft-ish metal but I assume that the leak is coming from elsewhere. The car has had a leak since i bought the ****er close to a year ago.

Is it common to have the gaskets go between the header and the block? This is going to be a bitch of a job isn;t it?..... damnnnn

exhaust manifold work on our cars is known to be a PITA. the installation of headers is even worse.

Well, you could look on the bright side: You can put some Long Tubes in there while you're at it!

And, cmclegg63, are you guard or a marcher?
