Spin the motor by hand and pull the rag out.

id remove as much of the rag as possible... the fibers will burn off but they could F your cats (if you have any). when you remove the rag id also reccomend changing the oil in case any fibers got in there and might block your filter. good luck and i hope there isnt any damage. youre not the first to do this and sh*t does happen. but take it as a lesson, slow down bud =). hell while you do this you could do a PI swap writeup
