Default Engine warranty

In May 2006 I had Ford put a new motor in my car because my engine locked up, and I got the warranty with it. I recently took my car to my mechanic b/c of an oxygen sensor issue, and after he replaced them the check engine light was still on. He says theres probably something wrong with the computer so I'm going to have to take it to Ford.

The main question I have is will I still be under waranty if I take it to them with my CAI on it. Could I just tell them it was already on my car before I had them swap the motor? I doubt they have any documents on my cars intake. Not to mention the stock intake was cracked, and they didn't even replace it after putting in the new motor hense the main reason I replaced it myself.

Did he clear the codes after putting in the sensors?

a cai wont void a warranty. f/i or hci swap or anything dealing with internals will void your warranty.

It shouldn't void your warranty. However, if you DO have the stock piece, it won't hurt to put it back on.

I just had my Cobra at the dealer and I returned everything stock just for a diagnosis.
