this sound like a vaccume leak?
went to the track yesterday. drove back fine, ran fine there. just got in my car to go get some lunch real quick before work and it idles really bad. idles a tad lower RPM than usual. and it sounds almost like its cammed. kinda fast popping, short break, popping again. when i drive it it seems very hesitant. when i shift the rpm will drop like 300rpm instantly, hang there for a second, then fall.
i dont understand why it waited till this morning to go crazy, ran perfect last night. appreciate any suggestions

I'll say the IAC is in need of a cleaning.A can of carb cleaner with the little straw suck between the hose and the IAC can be used to clean the intake from IAC to intake valves.
Warm the engine to operating temp. Pull the hose, stick the straw into the hose, and replace the hose.Start the engine, keep the engine from stalling and spray away.Starting out slow will cause the idle to fall and the IAC will compensate by opening and closing. All this activity in the presence of carb cleaner should free it up.
Try it out and if it don't help, repost and we'll figure something else.

preciate it. my supervisor plugged his tuner in while we were at PT just now, it was throwing a CEL i didnt even notice it hes the one that saw it (sun + yellow light = hard to see). it had 3 codes, first one was a misfire in cylinder 1, other 2 were whatever i dont remember. im gonna go ahead and replace all my plugs tonight after work and clean the cops out while im at it. whats the best way to clean the cops...carb cleaner as well? my car just broke 50k miles and i know plugs are reccomended at 50k and i doubt the previous owners changed them that was my supervisors suggestion. since he cleared the code its driving a tad better, sputters badly when i step on the gas though it was doing this before when i swapped intake manifolds, it stopped tho after a day of doing it the suggestions back then were dirty cops/plugs.
