Default CHEAT 02 SENSORS CHEAP AND EASY

I thought I would share this info. It may be useful. I have an 03 gt with no cats. The service engine soon light was on and it did affect fuel economy and performance, I don't care what any one saiz it did. This is basicallty acheap and easy way out. I bought 2 18mm spark plug non foulers, drilled them out just to open up the bottom. I installed them on the bottom 2 oxygen sensor bungs and then put the sensors back in. It changes the down stream readings just enough to trick the computer into thinking there is cats. The light shut off and my fuel mileage is way way better.

I did this as well. Light went off for about 50 miles and then popped right back on.

i did the same thing as you and the light was off for thousands of miles, until i put the stock H back on

i stacked one on top of the other, though bringing the sensor farther away from the unburned gas

be sure to use anti seize on everything, you don't want corrosion...aluminum + steel = bad news

it did not affect performance or mileage in any way, though

i put the defoulers in my truck from no cat's... it was a no no on my part.. drove it for around 100 miles fine... went to the track... and on my second run with nitrous BOOM. threw a check engine light saying post catalyst too lean. it gave the computer reading saying it was lean and the computer retuned for it and backfired... i took them off and the truck now runs fine. but i would not say to use them with nitrous. i am getting rich codes now but i'd rather that than lean.
