Which Fuel Pump for S/C built GT
Well my long block is arriveing tomorrow ...mmr900, and im planning on running anwares from 9-14lbs of boost i have a kenne bell 1.7l and the boost a pump. ik i am in need of a fuel pump upgrade but which one to do im a little confused on, ive heard the ford gt, svt focus, cobra tank swap....
what would be the easiest and cheapest way of getting a higher flow pump for the car, it is the final item i need before i crank up the boost to 12-14lbs
the setup is something like this
mmr900 long block, ported heads
75mm throttle body
jlt intake
full slp exhaust headers, catted x , lm2's ( the loud ones) doah forgot if its ones or twos
90mm maf
42lb injectors
kb bap
kenne bell 1.7 i/c
i would like to keep it simple and be able to handle enough for say 500rwhp, because i am thinking of a possible nitrous system in the near future. after the tranny is done

i have a 310 lph pump that will fit your car if your intrested....
i put down 440rwhp on it with no problems at all. that and the boost a pump and you will be set safely

These pumps are not good for returnless cars if you are referring to a walbro or something like that.

The dual cobra pumps and tank will be the best setup you could get if you can afford it. If not then I would go with a single Ford GT pump. I was told they flowed over 300lph.
