Default 5.4 4v do you have to modify the...

Do you have to modify the headers and Hpipe to get it too fin into our mustangs?

Also, Do you need special motor mounts?

You would only be able to use shorties for a 4v or maybe custom made long tubes. The mid pipe would have to be made wider. I would also suggest a tubular k member if you were going to do a 5.4. It would just give you that much more room. It made a huge difference when I was building my headers.

The engine, blowerand suspensionare already in. I'm just waiting on the funds to finish some odds and ends. I still have to complete the intake manifold. I'm having the adaptor plate machined for free so I kinda have to wait for business at the place that is doing to slow down. Winter is coming now and I have to get surgery on my shoulder so I don't think it's going anywhere until spring.

ahh i see, now as for the 5.4 being a 4v, i'm wondering if that will completely fit without any modifications? my 4.6 dohc just fits by inches, i'd be suprised if they can wedge a 5.4 4v in there without mods to the bay

Here's my buddies Saleen, I've posted pictures before but I figured i'll let some of you guys drool over the 5.4 v4 with twin turbos pushing 22lbs.
