I would greatly appreciate it if someone here could help me with the following: either by suppling the information or directing me to a good source

i need the bore spacing (center-to-center distance of two adjoining cylinders) i think it's 3.98inches but i'm not 100% sure.

I also need to know the distance between head bolts, side to side and fore-aft

or, if someone had a used head gasket they could mail me, i will pay shipping and handleing.

well, its not a swap thats been done before, i know this for a fact, and im starting to not really be sure it's possible. its just that there an old 80's era engine that is real close to the bore spacing and such off the 4.6 and i want to see what parts could be usable with some slight modification/machining. that's all i can say at this point, because, well, besides me and 1 other person, nobody knows about this idea, and personally, i hate filling forums with a bunch of heresay and such information until something is proven to work. I ran across alot of misinformation online regarding measurements and swaps.

at this point, i think i'm just going to buy a headgasket, measure it in the package, and then return it to the store. unless someone here can help me out. sorry if i don't have more details on the swap.
