Ahh, ok. Thanks for clearing that up. Back to the original poster, how long has it been since your brakes were worked on? You might be able to figure out what it is by pulling the wheel off and taking a look. Much better than paying someone to do it.

I don't know. I have had the car about 4 months now, but I do think it is as others have said - pads weren't put back exactly like they were on. I am going to take it back to them and see what they say. They are pretty reputable so I don't think it will be a problem for them to correct it.

Thanks! Anyway, took it in this morning. The rear rotors are warped so I will be replacing them this weekend with new pads. Problem solved. Now only if I could figure out where the whistling sound is coming from when I pick up speed I will be set.

I swear I love these cars, but they can be so aggrevating.

mine looked the same. it was frozen slide pins causing it. put new pins and and they cleaned right up. and yes it did rattle because the brake pad was not seated against the rotor.
