yea i only paid 11k for my gt with 4k on the car now it has 20k miles with some mods i figure i could sell it for at least 15k with the procharger and new pistons, or i could pay 10k just to have my car handle 700hp

that was a good deal.

It really depends on what you want, but I might be facing the same problem some day. I've already decided that I will rebuild my GT.Why? I already have a significant investment in it on parts that would not transfer to the 03/04 Cobra. One of the guys at Texas Hot Rods told me the crank is good to 650 rwhp. I've read elsewhere that with FI stock heads are good to 600 rwhp.Put forged rods and pistons in it and run your P-1SC as high as it will go on street gas.
By the way, what rwhp were you running. Did you redline the motor? I have thought of going to 10 psi but I may have just changed my mind.

you will only decrease value by modding a cobra... they are ok for the moderate person, but if your going to go crazy then a cobra is a waste imo... your going to have to replace everything anyway... so id keep the GT - heck you could even buy your new block and put it all and roll- besides you loose more than the new block would cost buying and selling anyway... its true that some people will pay more for completed project - bit 99% of the time thats not trun - bc the modding process is the fun of it anyway

yea it was only making 370hp with the 8lbs pully with the powerpipe it made 10lbs but it was a bad tune they never checked my fuel pressure it was pinging bad about the time i came home when we checked it the pressure was about 20lbs it should be at least 50lbsso i fixed thepump problem and as soon i started up loud knocking startedso i put a bore scope down the plug holes and u can see one of the pistons has a big crack down the side but im going with the built block thanks for the opinions
