you never tried to pinpoint where the noise is coming from? try to find out where the whistle is coming from, if you need to, get a 2 foot lenght of garden hose and put one end to your ear and the the other end to probe around under the hood, kinda like a stethoscope, i had to do that on my friend car that had a vacuum leak, it worked pretty damn good

The intake makes a whistling sound on mine. But the car made a prrrr.... (rolling r sound) when bogging the car (I think it went away after 15mins of driving). I checked for leaks using some carb cleaner spraying it around all the connections and seals (listening for changes in idle) and there were none to be found.

The intake will make a noise and apparrently there will be a little noise from the plenum and TB. Check all your connections and sealing surfaces if there aren't any problems you are all good.

I haven't been able to drive the car since my inital drive after the install (DAMN NE weather![:@]) and doesn't look like I will be able to till atleast next weekend.

Intake noise is not uncommon.

Car pulls HARD over 3k huh?

I have the Mac 70mm and it sounds like a turbo spooling up also. Its nothing to worry about.

By the way... hows the C&L Plenum? Im thinking of getting one but not too sure if I want to.

ummmm well i am enjoying it very much, id recommend it if u have a few extra bucks. i got my 410s in like a week ago, i put on the TB and plenum today , and tomrrow im gonna put on the tunable induction intake w/ 85mm MAM. the car is pretty damn fast so far. i wonder what its gonna be like after i put on the intake and MAM.... then i still have my UD pulleys, x pipe and cat back to throw on there... oh man my car is gonna be awsome.... i cant wait!!!! would it really make a hudge diff if there was a little leak thing... i dont think there would be ... i tightened everything and made sure all the gaskets were still there ... like the EGR gasket and the IAC gasket ... i didnt even know they had gaskets until i saw them lol but i made sure everything was nice and tight and aligned right etc etc.... im pretty sure i dont have any leaks .... my idle is perfect... same as it was with the stock plenum and TB so i must have done something right is how im thinking of it ... what do u guys think...

I have an appointment to put my 4.10s in the end of march. Can't wait. Last year I was knocking on the door of high 13's. Crappy 60's, crappy tires and crappy weather kept me out of it. I know for sure I am in the 13's now before the 4.10s. better tires and man dues she pull hard over 3k.

i have the bbk 75mm tb and the c&l plenum setup and i have the same whistling sound in the same rpm range must i thought i did something wrong when i installed it but i guess its normal from what everyone has told me. Nothing to worry about. Now if only this damn snow would melt so i could drive it.......but its not looking promising since were suposed to be getting another foot or so of the white crap this week.
