Its all about who you know, my 87 k5 passed running of header, no rear brakes, and an ebrake cable tied to the frame with a coat hanger

pshh... i just paid about $500 bucks for a catted x-pipe and 4 o2 sensors... just to pass emissions. never again... took me 4 hours under car to swap out the pipes. PITA if you ask me. only have emissions every 2 years so im gonna go back to the o/r till then.
FOUR HOURS??? u not using a lift or what? i can swap them in less than an hour. florida doesnt even have emissions testing but my old car back home i'd slip a guy at the place right by my house 50 bucks and he'd print me a sticker without even looking at my car.

well, I dont like doing totally illegal things like that, only speeding. but how hard is it to swap back and forth between pipes?
The illegal part is doing it, not the getting caught part.

Come on man. . . just try it. . . if you dont inhale its not illegal

I took my car to my buddy's shop and he had the X-pipe done in a couple hours. I figure if I had done it on my own with no lift and no power tools, it's a half a day job.
