Default CC plates needed if aligned?

Ok guys I'm a little confused. I am getting ready to lower my car ~ 2" and I was wondering once I have the springs installed and I get it aligned properly, would I still need Caster/Camber plates? Or do I need both the alignment and C/C plates?

Yep, you need the C/C plates to be able to align it properly for a 2" drop.

I just discoverd a person that comes into the store I work at races a '97 Cobra on autocross on the east coast and has a '03 Termi as his cruiser and I was asking him his thoughts on C/C plates for up to 1 1/2" springs, he said it is not necessery, but recommended as you get better versitilty out of it. He said definalty on a 2" drop. From what I read that is pretty much the concensus here as well.

If your shop can get it aligned properly without CC plates then you obviously don't need them. Mine is dropped a good 2" and my shop was able to dial me in and all is good for over 2 years. I will however add them when i do a K-member swap.
