anyone know someone or a place to get a motor that will fit in a 2000 mustang gt would like to put a 4v in it

look in the classified section or post in the WTB section that you're looking for a motor. If all else fails, ebay or build you one.

01+ Crown Vic,01+ Gran Marquis,there's alot of motors that will work. but if you really want to get a 4v,find some junk yards in a big city and look for a wreckedNavigator,they seem to sell the cheapest.

Well...I'd put a built 2v back in her.. Either a MMR or a motor built by a reputable shop and either get a blower or run her with big shot of nitrous. Putting a different motor in your car will be more trouble than its worth. Most guys that do (put a 5.4 liter or go 4v) end up selling their car

about an hour ago i saw a 4v supercharged 03 cobra motor withclutch, harness, hoses, and front accessories, and a smaller supercharger pulley, with 13,000 miles on ebay for a buy it now of 6,500. But I dont know what the reserve is.

ok, I went home for leave in Ky and bought me a 2002 Mustang GT with 74,000 Miles. Well there was a small Tick/knock in the upper Left/Middle part of my Engine. The car went into the shop the day after I bought it. They Had it for 2 weeks and all they did was fix my Trans. and said they fixed the tick/knock. I was already in VA when my car was done. MY parents got my car and failed to tell me that the noise was still there. Well I had them Drive it to VA to me, Then a week later the noise was getting to be more Hearable. I took it to a Ford Dealer and they said they did not know what was wrong with it but it sounded like it was coming from the Rotery part of the engine. They wanted to Charge $1700.00 to just take the Engine apart.

Now I have a Accufab 75mm Throttle Body, and a JLT Performance Cold Air intake. I also have The Magnaflow MagnaPack. But I put this stuff on after I bought the car. Anyhow, I replaced the Water Pump, some of the Pulleys, and the Thermostat. This still did not change anything. The I had one of my Buddies hook it up to a computer and everything was fine besides my car was running to advanced like 23-25. Well I was on my way home and I felt like the car was try'n to die, So I pulled over. the car Died and I waited and tryed to start it up and I heard a POP and white Smoke came from under the Hood. I opened the Hood and there was a Rubber Tube from the Top part of the Engine that was connected to the Valve cover. I THINK! Anyhow the car will not even turn over now.

I have a 3 year power Care Coverage And they should Fix it, But I want to know if any Of you Could help a Servicemen Out, I just dont have alot of time, If any of you know what the Military life is like it sucks. Please Help me Out.

theres actually a 2v out of an 01 in the classifieds on here 550 obo he said (cracked valve cover, i think u can use urs tho so it should be an easy fix...he pulled it out of a wrecked car tho he said so he might not even know if the motor runs, but thats a chance you will take pulling the motor from any wrecked car)
