Default How much should I pay?

Hey all,

Long time reader, rare poster.

So I'm currently saving my pay checks for a 99-04 mustang GT coupe . Preferably one with less than 75,000 miles. What should I expect to pay for a decent one? It doesent have to eb in top condition, I would be willing to work on it [8D]

Here in Florida you would be looking at $5500 to $6000 for a '99, clean, 75k to 100k miles (private sale); to $16,000 for an '04 with 45k to 75k (from a dealer). My brother recenly bought a clean '99 35th anniversary GT with 110k miles for $5800 (private sale). I paid $12.5k for my '03 GT with 30k miles last December--private sale, motivated seller...

14K is alot for an 04, I mean it's 4 years old! They only went for 26 new. Here in NY you'll pay $8500-9500 for 99-00 and for an 01-04 no more than $12.5k All with less than 70kmi $14k-15k for a vert

Here in Florida they don't rust...I lived in New England until '92, it amazing working on a 5 year old (or 15 year old) car with no rust; fasteners that are easy to remove and undercarriage partsthat still have the OEM paint on them!

My advice, save a few more and get a cobra or a mach 1.

Wish I could. But as a senior in HS making minimum wage and earning 6.85 an hour, its hard enought to find money for the GT>
