I use to have that misfire problem, but a guy told me to take a pair of needle nose pliers and just bend the little tabs on the cop's just a little bit.And it will contact the plug ina little better. So I did that on all my cop's and have not had a problem sense.

ive had this problem twice now. i replaced my intake manifold and it was misfiring bad when i accelerated. then after the track a couple weekends ago same thing. not sure what the problem is. i replaced all the plugs and if it comes back im gonna replace the ignition with MSD also. it threw a code once misfiring in cyl 1 so im gonna replace the cop on that cyl this paycheck anyways (or maybe all 8 depending on the price). both times its fixed itself after it sat for a few hours. not sure whats up but sounds like we got the same prob [:@]

ORIGINAL: Brute03

what tab? in the connector?
were the wiring harness plugs on to the cop's, Not the end of the cop's that plugs on to the spark plug.
There is two little brass tabs that stick out about 3/8" just twist them a little with some needle nose pliers, and plug the harness back on,and put some die electric grease in there to.
