Right now I only pay storage insurance, but when the summer comes I will pay like $900 dollars every 6 months that has good grade discount and teacher's insurance, pretty good for the Saleen I guess (I'll be 19 on tuesday)

Im 17 and got a 2000 mustang gt. I pay $2700 a year under my parents name. It would have been close to $5000 a year under my name so i put it under parents name.

RE: Question for gt owners 20 and under...
I'm 23 and paying $370/month for this month and next month (just got the car 2wks ago). I got busted drag racing 3 years ago in my last Mustang, and it nearly tripled my insurance for the past 3 years. I ended up selling the Mustang and driving a 94 Pontiac Grand Am till my record was cleared. My record cleared on Feb 5th, which is why I finally got another Mustang. My current Premium ends in April and my insurance goes back down from there.
So, I'll be paying $142/month as soon as I can renew the premium.
Lesson for those who haven't found out the hard way...dragracing on the street is NOT worth it. Unless you want to look forward to paying $370/month or so for insurance on a Mustang GT. That dragracing ticket is the only ticket I've ever had in my life, and it hurts.

I'm 20, I pay about $145 a month. I have a good student discount, mutli-line discount, safe driver discount , and I'm working on getting another 10% off if I take some stupid class from the insurance company. Oh yea, thats full coverage too.
