so i think i f'ed up my clutch last night
so i headed over to my cousins house and i was screwing around and got on the car, i spun 1st went to grab 2nd and my clutch pedal was dead basicly i had no pressure on it and my clutch is pretty stuff all the time. i smelt clutch so whatever i drove it normaly and i have a fiore firewall adj. and a fiore quadrent. i had my clutch to where it felt really short and now its super long and i get a shake in 1st gear when taking off. i hope i didnt f up my clutch.

its driveable and fine for now i just got in it and cutch feels fine again . o well im gunna drive it the rest of the season and go with a centerforce dual friction this winter. does anyone know if that is a stff clutch or not. i hate getting into a car and having it feel like im driving a honda.

is your adjuster right? sometimes they can slip and get all messed up... ask me how i know haha. Steeda sells a good one that clicks and cant work its way out. you should get about 1/8 inch slack if you pull out on it from the adjuster.

I slipped the clutch completely through the redlinedoing a 3rd to 4th gear power shift. It scared me so bad that I was looking behind me on the track for pieces of my car. I replaced it next week thinking that I hadtoasted it and found a still nearly brand new, 90% there clutch disc and a burn spot on the pressure plate. I wasted 300 on a new clutch when all I had to do was scuff up the flywheel and pressure plate and continue driving. You just slipped it pretty bad and probably glazed something good too. I would just do some normal stop-go driving on it and let it settle back in.
I'm sure someone else here will chime in though and tell you every word I've said is misinformation. We seem to have a trend of that lately.
