Where are the plastic intakes prone to cracking? I believe mine is cracked at the thermostat housing. What is a good replacement manifold if I plan on doing a PI head swap later? Thanks for the info guys.

that's the spot. You can probably pick up a PI intake with the aluminum crossover for pretty cheap.

lol that is that spot. Junkyard one with aluminum cross will be sturdy or something a little more radical if you are gonna mod the car. Only issue would be price there. Bullitt manifold is very good, there are a few others out. Not a big fan of the typhoon one.

Ford replaced mine for free. They had a 7 year unlimited mileage replacement on the intakes. I had my car 6 years and 4 months with 120k when they replaced it.
