HELP! DAILY DRIVER MAF INSTALL PROBLEM
hey guys i threw in my new sct 90mm MAF tonight cuz the guy who tuned my car said it would really help control my air fuel ratio. the car is running awful! its under revving at idle but i tuned the idle up to over 1000... i step on the gas and it ****s out on me! help please!!

i called the shop but its too late at night... the site didnt say it had to be tuned for the injectors its the sct one... and idont have a mafia... cant i adjust my air/ fuel ratio with a predator??? it cant be vacuum lines cuz i didnt touch them to put it in...

You cannot just drop a new maf in and slam the hood. Its not the maf that needs calibrated, its your ECU. You have to retune the computer for the maf.
Having a maf "tuned" for injectors is a misconception. You don't tune a maf unless it is a tunable one like a C&L that comes with tuning tubes (and imo its a bad idea to do this anyway, as changing this can cause the car to run like **** at idle/low load situations). The maf reads what it reads, you tune the ECU To know that when its reading xx volts it is pulling in xxx cfm and you need xxx fuel.
