King cobra clutch?

I just had the ford racing king cobra clutch installed on my car... however it still grabs at the very top, and there is no play either at the top. Is this normal? or should it be adjusted... it is sorta hard to drive with it pulling at top though...

No not normal or good. You need a aftermarket quadrant and firewall adjuster before your new clutch is toast[8D]

Ya that plastic stock crap bend and distorts all up when you have a stiff clutch like the King Cobra....

That was my problem to when I first installed my King Cobra, I just let it go and didnt worry about it, then eventually it settled in i guess, becuase it grabs right at the middle of the throw, with no play.
