I've got 255/40/17s all around on mine. They don't rub in the front. I had 275/40/17s in the front before but I didn't like the way the car tended to follow ruts in the road.

the stock 245's follow the ruts pretty bad as well... bigger tires will only exacerbate it, but not to a point that you will lose control.
