Rebuild Shops?
Ok, so I just bought my 01 Cobra 2 weeks ago and it seems that the piston rings are shot, so I'm PISSED! Anyway,bothFord Dealerships around here say that they do not do rebuildsand will NOTeven re-ring it. So can anybody recommend a Mustang/Cobra shop anywhere near Muscle Shoals, Alabama that would be willing to take on my 01 Cobra motor? I called Texas HotRods and I can ship them my car but they want like $6,000 for the total rebuild plus shipping the car and such. I really don't want to go that route so if anyone could suggest a shop they've used close to Alabama I would appreciate it greatly.

There is a pretty big Mustang shop in GA somewhere. Do a search and see if you can find it. "Mustangs Unlimited" maybe? You could trailer it out to them and have themwork on it. Might be cheaper than shipping it.
