i have a buddy at WyoTech that is learning to P&P heads and his instructor said he gets 4 hours of lab time to work on his own car or his friends cars...the instructor would be there to supervise and make sure he does everythign right....he offered to port and polish my heads for free if i pay the shipping from ohio to wyotech and back....is it worth it? i cant afford new heads if he screws up...

I would think it would be fine. But winter is coming so you could start saving just in case!

i would watch i heard the 2v heads are tricky to p and p. so makesure they do it right

I'd think twice myself.
P&P is'nt an exact science but to do anything more than smooth out the finish (polish) or port match the intake and exhaust ports probably isn't a good idea.
