Why Are My Brakes "Creaking", (No Not Squeaking)
Since I came back from the road course, whenever I'm braking, I hear this loud "creaking" noise coming from my right side front brakes. I originally thought it was my springs, because it sounds just like an old trampoline with rusty springs. Thats the best I can describe it. It's not continuous...it's like the harder I push, the louder and more amplified it gets, like when you stretch an old trampoline spring out, and then back in. It's directly correlated with my pedal...not the amount of braking I'm doing...like at a stop, I can push lightly, and hear a faint noise, but then push it fast and harder, and it will be more distinct and louder.
It's gotta be the brakes, because it does it when I'm stopped too, but it only starts after the brakes get warmed up, like after the first 2 or 3 times I use the brakes to come to a stop.
This is really annoying, and everyone can hear it. It's definately coming from the passenger side front brakes.
What is this, and how can I fix it? Somebody told me it was just the pads or something, but I think it has to do with the caliper piston...HELP!

Yeah see my other post with the video...
I think the slider pins need to be lubed. Thats a good start, because I did spin out and got dust everywhere. I'll try it.

This is sorta in left field but Im going to say its the steering rack.
Not lubricated from the factory, tierod endsmake a creaking sound you're describing perfectly when they travel upwards and downwards even a small amount sometimes after some wear and tear....you were a t a track. Your vehicle weight sorta lurching forward when your breaking might all of a suddon force these creaking sounds out. I know this sounds nuts, but its likely, and happened on my car.
