make sure you go to ford asap with the vin since u say its a 1998 ford only keeps the vin #'s in their comps fot 10 years

If you have a PATS key, you should have keyless... it is all run by the same module... I have it in my 96... Get the FOB off ebay (not the ones I am trying for!!) and put a fuse or something metal in the connector... turn the car to RUN (NOT START) and the door lock will cycle (lock then unlock)... push a button on each FOB you have (up to four), then pull the fuse or turn the key to off... all done!!
