Default Kenne Bell or Turbo?

Ok guys heres the deal. I have a 99' GT vert, bone stock. i want to make the care faster and more fun, so i want to get a KB 2.1L, 6-14 psi kit, and for a year leave the bottom end stock, and run it @ 9-10 psi. KB did all their tests on a stock GT, and they look like they know what they are doing. so please all and any advice please, help me make up my mind!

thanks

Kenne Bell!! i have the exact kit that u are talkin about and love it. no regrets except the price lol but wouldent trade it for anything. As u might know the whine from the KB is also super sexy and one of a kind. Goodluck on ur choice though

Hey Bro... I personally would go for a Kenne Belle. I have heard alot of good reviews on their 2.1L Kit. A couple of my friends with 04 Cobras Love them. Its like as time goes by I tend to hear Kenne Belle every time anyone with a mustang is talking about superchargers. Im actually looking into getting one myself for my 01 GT.

I love my K/B. I'm running a 6 lb. pulley, on the dyno it's putting out 7 lbs. I'm at 330 rwhp, and have turned the 1/4 in 12.8 at almost 110 mph.

If you dont plan on doing a motor build investing money into a turbo setup is pretty much pointless, your stock block can only handle so much and a supercharger kit will get you those numbers, especially a kenne bell.

yea if you build your bottom end the do a turbo

they are more efficient and can produce some crazy numbers

I hear most people going for KB but how does KB compare to vortech and procharger?

IMO KB<centri<turbo.... kb loses in almost every respect for me, except the fun factor of course... and kb's website is full-o-crap

With the 2.1 KB on a stock motor you wont be dissapointed. I had the 1.7 and was quite happy with it.
