well i got my h pipe installed a some local muffler shop. they had to weld it in since the last guy who put the x pipe in had it welded as well. well now when i turn to the right AND give it gas it sounds like its rubbin??? only when i turn and give it gas. wtf is it

i look down there and dont see notin out of the usual but i ono. im confuzed.

do u have an auto? if so check your shifter linkage but i doubt it that... it should be on the driver side near the top of the pipe but this usual would cause the shifter to not move as well unless ur pipe is loose then maybe it moves when u turn and hits it.

ALSO CHECK THE CONDITION OF YOUR MOTOR MOUNTS. THIS WILL ENSURE THAT YOUR DRIVETRAIN IS NOT MOVING AROUND.

Interesting...I just installed my O/R H pipe recently and I'm getting strange sounds when I turn to the right as well...mainly from a stop and/or lower gears. I am getting it checked out tomorrow morning...my mechanic thinks it's loose or got a bad leak where the manifold connects to the H pipe on the Driver's side (but mine wasn't welded in so it could be completely different). If you don't figure it out by then, I will post back tomorrow after he "hopefully" fixes it with what he had to do.
