Default Friction modifier or not?

Im going to change my tranny fluid this weekend and Ive heard good things about GM sychromesh manual tranny fluid...my question is, do I get type with friction modifier or without?

You want the one without if it's already added in the fluid.

Just the GM Syncromesh is all you need. Any fluid with the syncromesh doesn't need any aditional modifier for the tranny.

+1 you do not need (nor is it desirable)friction modifier in the tranny.[/align][/align]It is used (added or in the fluid already) in the traction-lock rear-endto reduce the gear oil's frictional coefficientand keep the t/lok plates from binding. In fact if you use oil without modifier you can add less than the 3+ ounces recommended to make the t/lok lock up tighter...[/align]

that's what i did when i changed my diff. fluid, now she lights both tires again [8D]
