Default X-pipe question

I bought a new x-pipe and cat back from pypes the other day, but I forgot to check and see if the x-pipe had holes for the O2 sensors.

This is the pipe:
http://www.pysales.com/iwwida.pvx?;i...0%201?comp=ppe

It says to order eliminators to keep check engine light from coming on. (I have a 2003 GT)

Two questions. If I buy the eliminators what will the effect on my gas mileage be? Also, If it comes with no holes for the sensors, can I have them drilled in and still use the sensors?

I have the pypes o/r x for my car. It did come with holes for the o2 censors. I just bought the eliminators from americanmuscle.com. I didn't see any difference in my gas mileage after the install...except that I stay on the skinny pedal longer now! Its a good system, I really enjoy it.

1) yes it has holes...

2) wont affect your gas mileage...even if it didnt have holes the eliminators "trick" them into reading correctly anyways

Please post something like this in the 4.6 general discussion section next time and not the tech section.

Thanks,

I hope you get the x installed and everything goes smooth.
