anything i can do to help my oil...
well i posted somehting linked to this two weeks ago but i started my car again i smelt that burning oil smell breifly. i know what it smells like without cats on and i know what a burnt oil smell is cuz i have a craftsman tractor that burns alot of oil and it smelled like that. i bought 5-20 penzoil synthetic for my next oil change. im gunna drain the conventional oil for a good 2 hrs to make sure its all out...i hope this will help other wise i dont know what i can do...i only had this car for 2-3 weeks

no smoke? how many miles on it?
If this from blowby, i think synthetic oil may give you more trouble. It can get past the rings easier.
I run 5 30 valvoline dino oil with the blower. MPH suggested dino and it smokes alot less.
maybe try a little heavier oil?
also, i have had a minor vaccum leak that cause smoke from the breather. Fixed that, no smoke, no smell.

lol i think i got a minor vaccum leak that is causing smoke from the breather too wow i guess thats common. as for the oil problem i know my friend too a sample of his oil from his car and sent it out to one of the oil companies to do testing on it, its cheap and cool, they look for metals in the oil and u give them ur car info and they can tell if its ur piston rings or wat not...ill ask him for the info and post it up asap for u if u wanna try it...good luck
