paxton novi owners gimme your review
My friends shop has an account with paxton and can get me one for a pretty good price. However he has told me that there are reliability issues with their kits. I am wanting to hear from people that have them whether the 1000 or the 2000.

There should be absolutly no problems with the novi kits, espcially the 2000s. its a great blower, owned by the same company that owns vortech, and it has AWSOME potential.
I have no proof, but I would guess that a novi 2000 is going to make slightly less WHP at lower boost than say a SQ, but it will definatly oubreath and outboost one once you do a motor build etc.
I have kicked myself more than once for not going with the 2000 instead of the SQ... its going to suck when the time comes to forge the motor and the blower runs out of breath.

Thanks man, I've been thinking the same thing. My friend can get me a novi 2k kit for about 3.5k, 4k including install. Is that a good price or no?

Just depends on what all is in the kit... injectors, fuel pump, MAF, etc etc.
The mongoose novi kit, when it was listed, was like 4200 without install, and 600 for the install makes it 4800, but that does include every single little thing needed for install plus tune plus dyno time.
