Default Underdive pullies

I have alot of mods on my 02 saleen 281 s/c with diablo revolution chip. will i need too have my chip reburned with this mod ?I know it only frees up the hrsp.by being lighter an spinning faster but will it make a difference in my air /fuel ratio or anything else too cause me to redyno tune my chip?

DO NOT DO U/D PULLEYS!!!!!

On a S/Ced car you will LOSE performance b/c it will spin the belt slower...

Really i haven,t heard of that ,why would it turn slower?I do have a smaller than stock pulley on the s/c a 66mm.For more boost.

Thats the whole point to the UD pulleys is that you turn all the asscessories slower so that the engin itself can spin up quicker. If you adjust the size of any pullys then you will need to dramatically decrease the size of the blower pully just to get the same boost out of it that you got with the stock pulleys. You would do more harm than good and the cost/power gain ratio would be really crappy.

With a s/c, you want OVERDRIVE pulleyes. Of course you want to also add an electric water pump too. Overdriving the water pump will rob power and cause other problems. I recently upgraded to a overdrive crank pulley and a 8-rib belt.... much less slip on the blower. I had to custom fab a new blower pulley though, since Kenne Bell doesn't make a 8-rib pulley for my 1.7L blower.
