Default Throttle body help

Ok i can get a ported t/b that is supposedly equivalent to a 69mm t/b for about half the price i can get a 70mm t/b....does anybody know if these ported t/b's will really work? my ported intake plenum is really nice, but i mean the blade in the t/b can't get larger, so im just a little confused on how it would help me that much???!?

I've never heard of anyone trying to do that so it's probably not possible. I'd just pay the money for a new one or try to find a nice used one somewhere.

Best bang-for-the-buck is Ford Racing's 70mm throttle body with all new sensors already in place. Go for it and don't take a chance on something you may regret later. This is what I am talking about: http://mustangsunlimited.com/itemdy0...=&catkey=74-01 You can probably find this part for as little as $159 if you look around on the net. Good luck!

75 with C&L and 70mm with everything else is a good rule of thumb

The reason why I said get a 75 with a C&L is that a 75mm TB made the MOST hp over a 70mm TB. It's all on their website. Otherwise, get a 70mm with other plenums like accufab.
