Problem at start up
When i let my car sit for 5 days to a week. When i start it. It blows a little smoke and has rough idle for a second. I have a vortech supercharger on it. But dont think that has anything to do with it. I think it might be oil leaking down the valve when it sitting. But any other help would be nice. THANKS

RE: Problem at start up
The smoke is from oil sitting on the piston where it sat and id say the idle is oil burning off the plugs and maybe the mass air trying to correct it with the air fuel mixture.

RE: Problem at start up
This could be a number of things, but I would start first by checking your PCV valve. If it is stuck open, you will have an accessive amount of blow by into your intake manifold and into your combustion chamber. Keep in mind when a car in in 'warm up' mode to get the car up to operating temp that a rather larger amount of fuel is being placed into the cylinder, this could be that fuel coming out of the tail pipe. Are you catless?
