Draining Coolant!!!
Draining the radiator and resivoir was pretty straight forward.
Where in the hell are the two plugs for the engine block?
I hunted for probably close to an hour and a half last night but was unable to find them.
According to the book there are two of them, one on either side of the block. The book says typically one to two inches above the oil pan rail.
Not only am I unsure of which rail is the oil pan rail *yea, i know[X(]* I can't see two of something that appears similar.
Anyone with some treasure hunting skills? Or an idiot-proof picture?

Uhh, I don't have a pic, but just at the engine block from underneath. You'll see two plugs with hex heads on them. They are a pain in the *** because most people don't have a bunch of hex head sockets like you'll need. I tried to get one out for my coolant temp sensor and I couldn't get the damn thing out. Now my temp sensor wire is just ziptied up in the engine bay because I haven't had a chance to screw around with it. Good luck getting it out.

RE: Draining Coolant!!!
I saw one hex bolt WAY up under there, on teh bottom of the block.
I was probably even with the back of the front tires or so.
But the thing is, I only saw one on....wait.. if i was under the car, and it was on the left,,
i only saw the one on the drivers side, but not on the pass side...
there was some silver cylindrical thing up in teh way on the pass side that might have been hiding it, but i still didnt see one.
Correct me if I'm wrong, but in order to flush the coolant later on in the spring after I've put the intake back on, I'll have to get as much of the old coolant out first right? That includes draining those two plugs?

Miller and i didnt drain the coolant from the engine through those 2 bolts, cause after taking the head off, we only saw a little bit of coolant, which we blasted out with an air hose and dried off.
Gettin the remaining gaskets tomorrow hopefully, so we can have the car running again by tomorrow night. [8D]

Alright, sounds good.
So in the Spring when I'm flushing the system out with a hose and some of the proper chemical, will the whole system get flushed correctly with pressure?
I would assume, I just want to make sure. My coolant was awfully dark.
I know I had not changed it, and I've had the car for about 25K in almost 3.5 years.

If I remember correctly its under the last freeze plug toward the back of the motor. Here is a pic of my old block, look at the last freeze plug in the pic (all the way to the left), there is a rused bolt under it (the block is upside down, so above it in the pic). That should be it. (how the hell do you just embed the pic in the post without the need for hyperlinks?)

Yeah, I wouldnt bother with those plugs. Just get some coolant/radiator flush and follow the directions, its pretty straight forward and simple. It'll get all the old coolant out. Sometimes if my coolant looks really ****ty I run water through an extra time or two just in case.
