Default I'm BACK-Plus anyone with an SVO intake on a PI motor?

Way back over 6 months ago I deleted my cookies and could not log on but I tired today and all my info was still in effect and I am back to what was my favorite forum! Looking for Jason with the nice '04 to let him know I am here!
Also anyone here running an SVO intake on their PI motor? This is the intake Ford racing made back in the late '90's to get some decent power from the NPI motors and they had heads also. The intake looks like a bullitt but I believe it flows a lot more than the bullit. I will try to post a pic later. mark

Just like to know if it is on a Mustang and not a T-bird and what year and about the install, tuning, power increase, any cams, if so what ones? Gears-what? What rpm's does he shift at. Supporting mods? All of that and anything else he can let me know about! THX!

I'll see if I can find that info for you. He is running The SVO heads and intake in his 98 GT. But it is supercharged he's putting I believe over 500hp to the wheels.

I'm running a Bullitt intake on my s/c'd 2000 GT which is much like the SVO. Either will only give you about 5-10 hp if you are naturally aspirated. The big advantage is if you go forced induction. The design flows much better for a s/c or turbo. I also like the metal versus plastic manifold.

OK, but he is not running the intake on PI heads like I was looking for. Maybe he can still offer some info since he may not have run the SC right away with the SVO pats. THX

i think the bullit is pretty much the same as SVO, plus SVO is way more expensive cause it has the ford name on it. one is just for 96-98 and the other is 99-04

From my research the SVO flows a bit more than the Bullitt and side by side the SVO has a much larger "lower plenum"? Ford had to redesign the bullitt to make it more "street friendly". That's partly why I am looking for someone who has done the mod on a PI so I could see what they are running. The SVO on the dyno ran right up to 6100rpm before it started to drop off whereas the PI intake went flat at 4200 and then at 5200rpm it started to fall off. Due to cost not many have used the SVO as it was around $1500. for the intake alone and the "install kit" with the TB, EGR tube, throttle cable, etc. was another $400. and there was an SVO computer for the'96/'97 cars with sticks available(M-12650-B461) called a Hi-performance processor and 24lb. injectors were also available. Heads were about $900. each and came without followers, lash adjusters and cams.THX again.
