Default i got my 4.10s and have some ?s

i love the power but...does this sound right i got the 23 tooth thing from steeda to recalibrate my speedometer and it doesnt feel like im goin as fast as it says i am....at 65mph its at like 2200rpms and at 80 it says 2500...does that sound right with 4.10s and i also here a squeking noise when i start to come to a stop or start to go not like a whine but its weird what could that be...any help is very appreciated..thank you

well it sounds ok bc i have 4:10s as well seems normal...and as for the squeak.. putting in the 4:10s they did have to take apart the breaks.. check and see if pads installed right bc sounds like a brake squeak if its only when stopping

Not too sure what kind of transmission you have in a 98 GT but you can figure it out with this calculator : here

EDIT: you just have to put in your gear : 4.10 and transmission type and then scroll down completly and it will tell you the rpm's at any given speed depending on your gear.

3;73 gears are the highest you can put in with a t45 and calibrate it with a speedo gear because ford only makes a 23 tooth gear and thats what calibrates it for 3;73s you need to get a vehicle speed sensor thats calibrated for the 4;10s I believe.

2200 at 65mph sounds a bit off. My GT was at about 2400 at 65 with 4.10's.

ya i think im just gonna spend the money and get the speedcal from americanmuscle.com that should put it where it needs to be i think....
