C/C Plates

RE: C/C Plates
but what about alignment and adjustments and all that.... if i just bolt them on will they be ok? or would i have to get an alignment somewhere...thats the part i dont want to have to mess with... my car drives fine now and my tires are wearing fine also...i dont see why people say i need c/c plates... im in college and dotn got the money to spend...i can afford the c/c plates, but i dont know what im doing as far as install, i could bolt them on easy but then i dont know what to do with adjusting them, and then an alignment at a dealership is like 45dollars, and idk if they would mess with c/c plates or what....do i really need them?

RE: C/C Plates
here are some pics... they look even to me, the curve of the bumper and the fact that my camera was crooked throws it off a little...but they still look even to me...tire wear is exactly even on both sides

RE: C/C Plates
i thought the same thing. I drove mine for about a year before i finally installed them. I bought the stangsuspension caster camber plates and they were cheap and work great. They even called me after to see if everything was ok. With the money you save from not buying the steeda or maxim ones you can get the alignment with it. I would deff get them and I would deff get them aligned. Its worth the peace of mind knowing its done trust me.

I went to NTB but i had a membership card so it was free. with sportlines u cant get a perfect alignment but u can get close thats about it. i would do it just for peace of mine but its not a must. looks good under hood to.

RE: C/C Plates
A drop of 2" you should get an alligment because C/C plates are generally adjustable and probably arent adjusted for your car with your mods. the toe might be off by +5, and caster on mine was off by almost 8.xx. i had to do a custom alignment but my steering improved ALOT and i have a slight toe in.
