and thats b/c the heads are **** right.....so if thats true and your trying to put a spacer ona 2v.....it would be completely pointless and a waste of mnoey if its not done to a 4v. the whole point of a spacer on my carbs is to help get a little more air into the motor, but...if the heads are that bad then the net gains aren't worth it. are they?

IF it helps a stock motor, then it stands to reason that with better heads/cams there will be better gains from a spacer. Also, if you're still using the stock tb/plenum, then a spacer would be more questionable, I think.

For the military folks: 167 days and I'm out of this sand box. Like you I wanted the exciting **** when I was young and viola, I got the first Gulf War. Cured me, it did. I also wanted all the neato stuff SF/ODA guys got to play with. Now that I have it, I know how heavy all that **** really is. I have not weighed it, but my guess is that my OTV with attachments is 65lbs. This does not include ACH, M4/M203, M9, MBITR, etc. Lucky for me, I'm a gunner and don't have to wear my water on my back.

After 20 years I've been promoted to a HMMWV M240 gunner!

I'm 40, so I don't hump that big bitch very far. Everyone on the team is qual'd on M9, M4, M240, M2. I'm also qual'd on M203, MK19,and M249. We have a 249, but it stays on the FOB. Our three trucks have 2x240s and 1xM2. Everyone carries the M4 and M9. We're equiped like ODA for our mission in a lot of ways, but we don't have all the extensive training. We did get thermal camera on two trucks and have thermal sights for the crew served. We also have the PVS-14s, which are pretty nice. There's a bunch of other gear, but that can't be discussed here. It's all cool, but all heavy!
