I have a 04 gt and was wondering how do i take off the air silencer and where is it located?
I think I know where but not sure.....
is it just the cover on my intake?
will it make my car sound louder if i take it off?

its the chunk of rubber coming off your airbox going into the pass side fender. it pulls right off and can be reinstalled if need be. you gotta take off the 1 or 2 bolts holding the airbox down the swing it over far enough to pull the silencer out.

the only sound difference youll notice is a whooshing sort of sound if you have your head under the hood and the motor running

buy a drop in K&N filter while your at it. Havn't had a chance to get mine yet. People say its a money saver compared to a $200 intake.
